Appointments - Dr Khan & Partners

Appointments System

The online appointment system is currently unavailable

Appointments can be made by calling our reception team on 01268 205 033.

Emergencies take priority at all times.

It is not always appropriate to see a doctor. Some conditions can be treated by the other healthcare professionals within the practice; including, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Practice Nurse, Associate Practitioner and Healthcare Assistant. For a more detailed list of what each practitioner can help with please see our staff section.

Due to COVID restrictions at the current time - ALL appointments will initially be triaged by a healthcare professional over the telephone unless advised at the time of booking.

Please make a separate appointment for each person to be seen and inform reception if you have more than one problem to discuss with the Doctor.

Please keep your appointment. If you are unable to attend, please notify the reception desk. You can now cancel appointments via text message by texting CANCEL, your name, D.O.B alongside the name of your GP to 07909254928.

On arrival for a face to face appointment or if you have been asked to collect/ drop something off at the surgery, please go to the side door of the practice and press on the buzzer to be let into the building. All other enquiries should be made by telephone were possible.

Home Visits

You may only request a home visit if you are housebound or are too ill to visit the practice. Your GP will only visit you at home if they think that your medical condition requires it and will also decide how urgently a visit is needed.

We ask that requests for home visits are received by 11.00am on weekdays. After this time emergency requests for house calls will be referred to the duty doctor. Requests for home visits may be made by calling at the surgery or telephoning whereupon the receptionists will assess their urgency with referral to your own doctor or his deputy.

Training & Research

Training Practice

The Khan & Partners Practice is a Training Practice. We train GP Registrars, Medical students and Nursing students.

Our Practice is Research Active

Conducting high-quality clinical research helps us to keep improving NHS care by finding out which treatments work best.

In this practice, you might be asked to take part in a clinical research study. Alternatively, ask our staff about clinical studies suitable for you.

Talking part in a clinical research study is voluntary and can be a rewarding experience.
